Hybrid - human/Cassowary
This is my initial idea of the face structure of my hybrid character
Face chart No1
- Prosthetic beak, made up of two pieces, one over the nose and another over the bottom lip, to ensure the model can breathe
- slight prosthetics added to the side of the face to bring out the eye area
- feathers and makeup added to whole face to ensure the cassowary look!
- blue, yellow, green, purple, turquoise
- Prosthetic added to top of the nose and leading up towards the forehead to elongate the area
Face chart No2
- Prosthetics added to either side of the face to accentuate the cheek bones and to bring out the eye area
- large piece adde to the top of the nose leading up to forehead to elongate the head
- prosthetic beak
- feathers down neck and on chest
- colouration using, blue, red, yellow, green and pink
For the hair:
- I used padding to help make the hair stand up high above the head
- I will need to use products to smooth and sleek the hair, tis will enable no stray hairs
- I wanted to keep the bad more messy because the feathers of a bird can sometimes be erratic and thick
